The DTM is one of the world's best-known international championships in the touring car and GT segment. The racing series offers first-class, exciting sport at a top level. The DTM offers visitors many attractions around the action on the race track and high entertainment value with great fan proximity.
R-Motorsport will be competing against premium manufacturers such as Audi and BMW with four DTM Aston Martin Vantage cars in 2019.
The DTM will also be held outside Germany in core European markets such as Italy, Great Britain, the Netherlands and Belgium and is also expanding into Asia. Due to the agreed joint so-called "Class 1" regulations with the Japanese Super GT Championship, races in both series in Europe and Asia can be contested with the same cars in the future.
Two races will be held on each of nine race weekends, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Both races will be scored separately, each with full points.
