Blancpain GT Series 2019
The Blancpain GT Series is Europe's leading race series for GT3 racing cars, which is contested in two championships, the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup and the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup. At the end of the season, the drivers and teams in the Endurance Cup and Sprint Cup who have scored the most points in each are crowned champions. There will also be an overall winner, in both the drivers' and teams' championships, who has scored the most points in both series combined.
The Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup is the GT3 European championship of GT endurance racing. The series is contested in five races and includes three 3-hour races, a 1000-kilometre race and, as the highlight of the year, the Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race. The race series is extremely competitive, with large starting fields of well over 50 cars from all renowned premium brands such as Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Chevrolet, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Lexus, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche.

Despite new driver pairings and a race format that was new to us, our team did very well. Fifth overall by Marvin and Ricky is a successful debut. I was particularly pleased with Hugo and Aaro's podium finish in the Silver Cup.

After the restart, Jake, Alex and Marvin finally fought their way up to 18th place. All in all, it was a race in which we didn't fulfil our performance potential.
